Introduction

Wilmer Oberholtzer is the owner and manager of Farmstead Flowers in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. He took over this family-owned business from his father-in-law 15 years ago. They open every year at the beginning of March with a full array of pansies and perennials and a full line of annuals, perennials, bird, pond, and fish supplies. They specialize in customized planters and hanging baskets. They offer a Vacation Package that includes fertilizing, watering, deadheading, and scouting for any disease or pests on your plants. They also treat your plants with organic or pesticide applications while you enjoy your vacation. They also offer fairy garden workshops throughout the season where everyone has a fun time playing in the dirt! This is a wonderful event for family, friends, birthday parties, girl scout events, school trips, or a fun event for grandparents to spend with their grandchildren.

The Challenge

In 2021, Wilmer was facing challenges tracking his financial and sales reports. He was researching 2 other solutions besides StoreLIVE! when a former Good’s Technology Services employee suggested that he look into the StoreLIVE! product to see if it would fit his needs. He contacted Good’s Technology and set up a meeting.

The Process

First, Good’s Technology Services met with Wilmer at Farmstead Flowers. They discussed what Wilmer was looking for and what StoreLIVE! had to offer. Once Wilmer gave the go-ahead, the hardware was installed, and training was completed. About a month afterward, the system was live and ready to use! Wilmer ultimately chose this product because of the incredible support and local distance to their store. He said, “It went very well,” and [I] was pleased with the process from start to finish.
